First question: What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
ResponderEliminarI think one of the most risky careers is medicine because doctors have in their hands the care and life saving of other people. also because they are exposed to many diseases and to see unhealthy things that for other people can be disgusting.
Second question: Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
I think it depends a lot on the risk that I will take, some are more serious than others and also depends a lot on the consequences that this may have in my life since from there I must decide which is the best option.
Third question:
In opinion, the risks that the persons have taken no define the successful in their lives because no all the consequences about those risks gonna be good and others gonna be bad in the life. Therefore it's important know what outcomes i can have if i decide take the risk.
I agree with Rachel's answer on the first question because it is true that doctors have someone else's life on their hands. They have to be very careful with diagnosis, treatments and with surgeries too. If they make a mistake on those decision they could risk the patient's life.
EliminarI agree with Rachell´s first answer because I consider that being a doctor is one of the riskiest jobs because they have to take care people, their health and their lives. If the doctor does something wrong the person can die.
EliminarI also think like my classmates, because that being a doctor is a career that has many risks, since the lives of many people depend on the doctor in a operation all depend of a doctor, of his experience and his studies.
EliminarI m agree with Rachell's comment because I think that medicine is a very risky career where doctors must be very precise when they come to caring for a patient
EliminarI'm agree with Rachel on questions number 1 and 3, because I consider that being doctor is a risky career, as she said, doctors have peoples lifes in their hands, they have to be a trustful person because I believe that this is a conduct that they have to show to their patients. On question 3 I completely agree, because I think that being a risk taker or not doesn't define a person. I believe that if someone propose to him or herself succeed in life, he or she can do it even if it is not a risk taker person.
Eliminar1. What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
ResponderEliminarI think that exist two types of risky careers, the first one is related to weather such as meteorology and volcanology because they must travel to dangerous places to gather necessary information to understand a hurricane or a volcano activity. The second one is referred with health sciences like medicine and surgery which have a big responsibility with care and life of any patient, so a worst process could be risky.
2. Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
I consider that I am in the middle, because I like adventures for example go to mountain and camping there but I do not take risks that may endanger my physical integrity like extreme sports characterized for very intense and insane.
3. What's the biggest risk you have ever taken?
The biggest risk I have ever taken in my life was change to career for the second time. I had changed my career once and it was not a good choice, so changing again was very risky, because I had no idea what the results would be.

ResponderEliminar1. Yes, I do have dreams and goals that require takings risks. I want to get in to the biotechnology career in the TEC. This a though career, I think it is more demanding that the one that I’m taking now in the UCR. One of the risks that I will have to face is that I have to push myself harder to get good grades. Also, I have to focus even more to get what I want, that is get graduated from TEC.
ResponderEliminar7. I think people that take risks are more successful, because they are open to new experiences, because some of those risks can improve their life. Even though some risks leave negative things, most of them can leave something bigger in life.
8. First, going to a vocational high school. This one was the best risk I have ever taken. COVAO brought so many incredible things and people to my life and second, moving out. It wasn’t totally risky, but me and my parents had lived 13 years with my grandparents, so it was a little bit hard to leave them, but it was a necessary risk to take as a family. Both of these risks worked out perfectly.
Such as you, I have a dream too and it's a very arduous plan for both of us. It requires time, in my case money, but most of all: dedication. If you want it, you have to search for it. I think that's what we have in common, well you're closer to make it true. Lucky you! :)
Eliminar2. I think that all the careers or occupations involve a lot of risks in different ways. For example, if a person is a cashier in a supermarket, he/she can be a victim of a robbery or if the cash is not complete he/she might be fired. Another example is that a bus driver can suffer a car crash. In my opinion, the riskiest job is to be a fisherman of giant crabs because they expose their lives in rude oceans in Alaska. Also, the weather where they fish is very stormy and cold. They stay in ships far away from land with all the dangers that the ocean can have. I think that not all the people are brave to be a fisherman of giant crabs in Alaska.
ResponderEliminar3. I am a risk taker but in some situations. For example, I took a risk at the moment that I chose this career to study. I consider that this is a risk because maybe this could not be my career or it could not have any job vacancy. On the other hand, I like some extreme sports; however, I haven’t practiced one, but I would like to. And I think that taking a risk makes me stronger and helps me in order to learn how to do new things.
7. I think that people take risks every time in their lives. Some of them are difficult, some of them are not. In other words, risks takers can be people who are adaptable to different life situations or maybe they like the feeling that taking risks produces. I truly think that people who are susceptible to take adventures, changes, get out of their comfort zone and are more successful in life.
I like your comment Astrid. Risks sometimes makes us feel bravery and allow us to challenge ourselves and change our mind about the way we see the life. As you said, I also think that risks teach to people new and valuable things. Finally, I'm a not so risky person too, just in some cases.
EliminarI am agree with Astrid, because crime has increased and handle money is dangerous.
EliminarI think the same that Astrid because the risks that we take dependent of the situation and the kind of the risk. In the same way, the jobs are risky but i think some are more difficult than other so the people have to care the decision that they make.
EliminarI agree with Astrid, every single job has its risks. Also I like her examples.
EliminarFirst question: Do you have any dreams or goals that might require you to take risks? What are they? What are some of the risks you might have to take to achieve them?
ResponderEliminarAll of my dreams require a risk. They could be expensive or dangerous for me or for the people around me. For example, one of my dreams is to study in another country. I desire to travel because I love to learn new things about every culture on earth and get more information and knowledge about my career, but for that I must take two big risks that can not only harm me but also people near me. For this dream, I have to spend a lot of money on the ticket and other requisites for traveling and staying in another city. That’ll be risky for me and parents, and I said parents because they help to solve my finances. Another risk of this is I’ll to separate from my friends and family and I will go to a place that I don’t know.
Second question: Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
I consider myself in the middle of this category; because I can take risks as well as I can’t make it. It depends on the situation, in my opinion it is good to experience new things, but it is not correct to put yourself in danger. That’s why I prefer to analyze better what I’m going to do and the context of the situation before hurting or harming myself or someone else around me. In conclusion, we all must think carefully what we’re want to do, and recognize positive and negative consequences of our actions.
Third question: Would you ever risk your life for anyone? How about your money?
Yes, I would do it; even if is someone that I don’t know. I consider that our actions can change the world or just someone’s life. I can sound crazy but I really believe that helping people is an amazing thing and it would be a worthwhile risk. I love to support people in every way I can. With my money, I would do it too. I mean, cash it’s just a material thing and I won’t take it to the grave when I die so it’s better for me to use it smartly than just waste it.
I agree with Saby since we both have dreams or goals that at first sight seem difficult to reach because they can be expensive and can also affect the people around us. However, sometimes we must take certain risks to be happy.
EliminarEste comentario ha sido eliminado por el autor.
EliminarI agree with my classmates because the dreams and goals can almost always be difficult to perform for several situations but the people need remember that it is necessary. The persons need to take some risks to find this thing that he/she wants and be happy.
EliminarI'm agree with Saby in the second question, because i consider that i am en the middle of this category, I take risks dependent the kind of the risk and the consequences that it have.
EliminarI´m agree with Saby on the first question, because living in another country is also a dream that I have, is one of my goals in life. As Saby, one of the risks that I have to face when I achieve it is being apart from my family and friends and feel alone, but I know if I want to do it, I have to cope with that and adapt myself to the new experience.
EliminarFirst question:Do you have any dreams or goals that might require you to take risks? What are they? What are some of the risks you might have to take to achieve them?
ResponderEliminarMy goals is can be a professional and have a career and that way be able to travel the world and for this I need take some risks in the way which is very important for get everything I set out to do.
Second question: What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
Some careers what I consider what involve a lot is the medicine because the life of another person depend of a doctor. The doctor`s need have much for example for operate a person and keep them healthy. Also, to work in a laboratory can be dangerouns for the fact of having to manipulate the chemicals.
Third question: Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
I have not take many risks in my life and a lot less some dangerouns, but I like can practice some extreme sport, for example: mountaineening, wind-surfing, rafting, jumping, skydiving I do not know why, but I like feel the adrenaline and all the energy flow by my body.
Same of Tiffany I wanna work in something that makes me travel or live in other country. Also I would like to practice some extreme sports, and I don't have many risks in my life too.
Eliminar1st question: Are risk takers more successful in life?
ResponderEliminarI think that maybe a risk taker will try to find a way to be successful in life, without thinking about what people are going to say. They make decisions to reach goals without paying attention to the risks that an action may involve. All this can give them more opportunities in life.
2nd question: Do you have any dreams or goals that might require you to take risks? What are they? What are some of the risks you might have to take to achieve them?
Yes, I would like to be a nurse or a doctor. I think that those goals can be riskful since I’ll have to work hard to get it ,and also, I’ll have a lot of responsibility due to I’ll have a life in my hands. In addition, this responsibility can cause stress, anxiety, and fear of making mistakes.
3rd Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
I believe that there must be a balance in life, for me the excess should be avoided since it can cause problems in various areas. However, I think it is okay to take certain risks in life because although this makes us leave the comfort zone, it makes us grow as people, makes us feel capable of making decisions and dealing with what this can to provoke. So yes, I’m kinda risk taker.
María said she would like to be a doctor or nurse as a goal, in my case I wanna be another kind of professional apart from educator too. If I could decide in this moment about me and my future I would be a fashion designer and/or magazine editor, but I know that in this world I have to be graduated from a "real career" and then I'll take the risk of my dreams, because I should be realiatic.
EliminarI am agree with first María's answer because many people don't take in consideration that in their lifes ones can has most opportunities than other persons, or the risk that they took could be difficult them. It is an important and seriuos decision for me.
Eliminar2- Yes, because there are many things that involve risks. The rescuers sometimes risked their lives to save other lives. Also in other countries, the journalists are in risk, because they are chased and murder
ResponderEliminar4- I think that everything require risks. Just of fact to make a choice, either at work or about the major. In my case, I made a choice in my major. At the beginning, I felt fear because, I didn´t know if I was going to achieve it. Now, I believe that the risk hasn´t ended, because of, I don’t start to work.
7- If those risks are good decisions, the persons can have success.
5. Have you ever considered doing a job that is full of risks?
ResponderEliminarI have never considered a job that involves taking many risks, although all of them have situations in which one must take risks. I have never thought of a job that requires a very large risk that can not be assumed.
6. Would you ever risk your life for anyone? How about your money?
I have never found myself in a situation where I have to risk my life for someone but if it is a person close to me or who needs my help I would definitely do it. However for money I think it is not worth risking if it is something that is very dangerous
7. Are risk takers more successful in life?
Sometimes if they are more successful, they take risks because they manage to do things that not everyone can or would dare, although there are certain risks that are not worth it and people risk their lives.
What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
ResponderEliminarI think careers like medicine or microbiology, where people must make a great effort to be there (for money or admission test) and then when they are studying, working or making a practice, they can discover that the career is not actually for them. So, they can have the risk of change the way they see it and later they realized their career is very different than they imagined.
Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
Depending on the situation, because sometimes we can leave the comfort zone and take a risk; while sometimes it is very difficult or impossible to do. For example, we can take the risk of change our behavior in a good way, but we cannot take the risk of leave the job that we do not like, if we do not have another one.
Are risk takers more successful in life?
I do not think, because again depending on the situation we can agree or not. If people take a risk that involves drugs or alcohol they are not successful, but when people take the risk of overcoming their limits studying or working, they can be successful.
1. Are risk takers more successful in life?
ResponderEliminarOf course, because risk takers are people who go out of their comfort zone and follow their dreams and if someone feels good doing what he or she loves that is be successful in life.
2. What's the biggest risk you have ever taken?
get out of the UNA because I was studying something that I didn't like.
3. Are you a risk taking kind of person or are you averse to risks?
Yes, I like take some risks when I feel that it would be fantastic and makes me live a good experience.
I´m agree with you! Risk takers do that they want just because they want to do it!
Eliminarpeople´s opinion don´t matter because they know that we have only a life and we have to get all experiences as posible. Risk takers find the way to enjoy the life, and enjoy the life, for me, is the most sucessful thing that people can do.
ResponderEliminar2. What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
I think that all careers involve risks, in every single one of them you can be lawsuit for something you did wrong. But when it comes to a life threatening career I would probably say a criminologist and pólice officer.
5. Have you ever considered doing a job that is full of risks?
Yes, I had considered being a surgeon for a brief moment in my life. But anything related to medicine and science is a bit awful for me.
6. Would you ever risk your life for anyone? How about your money?
I would risk my life for some members of my family and maybe some Friends, and yeah I think I would risk money but just for the people that are trustworthy of it.
First question: Do you have any dreams or goals that might require you to take risks? What are they? What are some of the risks you might have to take to achieve them?
ResponderEliminarYes, I have. On a future I would like to go and live to another country like England or Australia to improve my English. Also, one of my goals that require a risk is to learn a new language like Italian or Portuguese. For my dream to go and live to another country the risks that I could have when I’ll be there it could be the adaptation, or stay far from my family and friends, what would happen if I can’t find a job?, or I could cope with being alone in a completely different country on the other side of the world? Those are questions that I make to myself and could be another risk that I would have to take. For my second goal of learning a new language, the risks that I could take at the moment would be giving up or never learn to pronounce correctly maybe or if I can learn it faster or is it going to take me many years to learn it.
Second question: What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
I think that one career that involve a lot of risks is being electrician, because these people have to be sure that the electricity connections that they are making are the correct ones, if it is not they can electrocute theirselves and also they could die. As well, people who study chemistry have a lot of responsibilities when they are on a lab, they have to be sure that what they are doing is not going to make the lab exploit or make that they could get hurt.
Third question: Are risk takers more successful in life?
I believe that if a person wants to succeed in life he or she can do it no matter if it is a risk taker or not, but maybe people who decide to take a lot of risks on their lives are more successful than the ones that don’t take them. If someone decides to take a risk to succeed in life but is not a risk taker, it doesn’t mean that this person is not going to be successful in his or her life just because he or she had never taken a risk before in life. Actually, people who are risk takers have more experience and that is what maybe makes them be more successful in front of other people than the one who is the first time that take a risk.
1. Yes, I want to study in the foreign another career related to the one that I currently studying. I want to know how the brain works, I want to discover how to improve our neuronal nets for have a better understanding of world that is around us. I know that it can be difficult but I have to try it.
ResponderEliminar2.The biggest risk that I had taken is stop to eating. I had never thought that I can be in that situation, but there was me risking my health. However, that risk taught me to appreciate my life and the people that I love. Also, I learned to enjoying life with lillte things and don´t worried about people´s thoughs.
3.Of course, risk takers are often in hard situations, so they have to make decisions quickly and wisely. I think that risk takers enjoy the life more than other people, they acquire different points of view, they appreciate the risks because they gives to them new knowledge or a different way to think and analyze life´s situations.

EliminarI like your pinion Jessi, because is right! Risk takers enjoy life a lot, they explore different ways of doing things and they learn about it!
Eliminar2. What careers do you think involve a lot of risks? Why?
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion all the careers involve many risks. People always are exposing to different situations in which they must be careful and keep calm in the moment for do the best form their work. Some examples of risky careers are meteorology and medicine; in these cases, the persons have many risks for their life and the life of others.
6. Would you ever risk your life for anyone? How about your money?
Yes, maybe depending of the person I would think about it more, but I can take a risk for anyone if he or she needs my help for anything.
7. Are risk takers more successful in life?
I think yes, because these people are extroverts, risky and can live more experiences that the other shy people cannot. In my opinion the persons can always learn many things about different experiences, be good or bad, they can always learn.
