ResponderEliminarFood is very important in my life because it gives me energy to stay active, but sometimes I eat food that is unhealthy food. I think I eat to live and live to eat because I eat when I am hungry, but sometimes I eat without thinking of the kind of food that I eat and I eat what want. Some foods and drinks that I eat are:
1. Soup. The soup is good for the body for the correct hydration and it is also low in calories.
2. Fry chicken. The chicken is a meat that has a lot benefits because of its proteins, but fry chicken is bad for health for the added fats.
3. Jelly. Jelly improves the health of the skin, hair and nails and doesn’t have fats.
4. Ice cream. Depending of the type of ice cream this can contain high levels of sugar and fats.
5. Chop suey. Contains a lot of benefits because of its mix of vegetables and different types of meat.
6. Natural juice. It provides to our body essential nutrients such as minerals, vitamins and antioxidants and it is healthier than other juices.
7. Coffee. This drink is stimulating for the body but in big portions it is extremely dangerous.
8. Rice. The rice has proteins, fiber, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals good for the body, but can makes you fatter.
9. Beans. It is rich in fiber, it can reduce cholesterol levels too, but you can be intolerant or allergic and it can produce colitis.
10. Milk. The milk is good for the bones because of its calcium and vitamin D. But if you are intolerant to lactose it can affect you and make you feel bad.

ResponderEliminarChanges are important for people and they can be positive or negative. Likewise, they can bring advantages or disadvantages to our lives. For example, if a person is sick and overcomes that sickness, the change is positive; however, if a person is healthy and gets sick the change is negative.
The biggest change in my life recently has been the pass from High School to the University. That change affects me because it makes me travel from one city to another every day. I have to wake up earlier, I have to do more homework, and I have more responsibilities. However, I consider that this change is positive because I am studying to become a professional and I am improving myself.
Me and Astrid have getting into the university in common. We both think that it is a positive change and it would helps us to become better in a personal and professional level.

Eliminar1. You should substitute the common chocolate to dark chocolate; it has great benefits to your brain.
2. The integral bread contains fewer carbohydrates than the bread that you consume, you can try with it.
3. Be careful with the amount of rice that you are eating because it contains high levels of calories.
4. About pizza you can eat it, but with careful, just one slice.
5. You can replace the sodas to natural drinks like lemonade and fruit juices.
6. Consume white meats like fish and chicken more than red meats.
It’s important to eat all kinds of food but with moderation. But I can give you some pieces of advice:
Eliminar1. You should drink 8 glasses of water per day
2. You should avoid all kind of drinks that are high on sugar because these drinks can give you a lot of health problems
3. You can eat bread but you need to be careful of the excess, because this food can make you fat.
4. About the meat, it’s important to eat it, but is much better to consume white meat, for example chicken.
5. You should avoid cheese because it can provide you cholesterol and bad fats.
6. You should include vegetables and salads to your diet to have a beautiful skin.

ResponderEliminarThe changes are good for people because it helps them to get out of their comfort, demonstrating that they can do things or see life from different perspectives, among the disadvantages are that many people out of fear are limited to giving themselves a totally different opportunity or when you make the change you do not always have the same expectation that you have in mind for example with a change of look.
One of the changes in my life was to move from school to university since they are very different, one of the things that have affected me is the discipline and responsibility that you have to have with classes. Also, I have become more independent than before, another thing is that in college there are many people and I have had to meet new people but I think it is a good change since I am things that make you grow as a person and learn everything.
The biggest change I have been through is the same that you've mentioned, when I entered collage.

6. Natural Juice, this drink is very healthy for me and gives me energy.
7. Rice, moderate consumption of rice is good for health.
8. Yogurt, this is very positive for me because give me many proteins and vitamins
9. Bread, i believe this food is good but not all the time because eat much food makes me get fat.
10. Cereal bars, this is good because brings in energy and vitamins.
There are some pieces of advice that I can give to you :)
Eliminar1. If you eat the right cookies, you could get a lot of benefits such as fiber and vitamins. There are a lot of brands that have nutritional cookies, look them up!
2. You should stop (really!) drinking Coca Cola, because it does not have any (ANY) benefits for your health.
3. Also, you should continue eating apples, because I once read that they help you whitening your teeth.
4. You should be careful with cereal bars. because some of them contain a lot of sugar.
5. You can substitute candies for fruit, like bananas. They are a really good source of sugar and it is healthy too.
6. Finally you should increase your consumption of water.
1. You should continue eating apples and maybe some pears too, just in case you get tired of apples.

3. Maybe the natural juice is good but try not to put a lot of sugar on it.

ResponderEliminarThe changes in the life of a person many times are for good although at first does not seem so, however there are changes that do not work well, some disadvantages is leaving behind people or habits that were good for our lives, although there are many advantages to improve as people or to advance in different aspects of our lives.
The biggest change in my life has been to have a baby, however it has made me grow up, mature and see things with a different perspective sometimes a little difficult but most of the time has been more beautiful than I could have imagined.
I think like Mariana because the changes help to improve the person, although the changes make people feel afraid.

Task 1: Food is one of the most important things in my life. I live to eat for sure! My eating habits are fine. I don’t eat a lot of junk food or sodas and I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of sugar in my diet. I always have vegetables and fruits on my diet and also, I’m trying to include to my diet more bottles of water. Fruits are my favorite dessert indeed. There are fruits, such as papaya that has fiber, banana which helps with stomach problems and pineapple that contains a few vitamins, are really good to my body and they give me energy. Vegetables, like broccoli that has a lot of nutrients, potatoes which help to keep a healthy blood pressure, carrots that are good for sight and chayote that helps to lose weight, are part of my diet and help me to get the nutrients that I need. Also, coffee, it doesn’t increase my energy levels but it has a lot of benefits, like antioxidants, helps you with your memory and makes you happy. Some kinds of food that I like to eat like tacos, fried potatoes, Nutella and gummy bears are not good for my health, because they contain a lot of sugar, fat or some toxic ingredients.
ResponderEliminarTask 2: In my case, some advantages of change would be that changes can help you to adapt to new things. Also, you would be able to grow in a personal level, achieving new things. Another one could be that you could meet new people and learn from them. Some disadvantages could be: if the change is extreme, you could not cope with it and get frustrated. Or you can miss your old live and give up.
My biggest change by now was when I moved from my grandparents’ house after living there for 13 years. Now I have a brand-new house and a different live style. Other change was getting into UCR which have made my life a little (a lot!) busier. Neither of them have affected me in a negative way by far, I love the changes that I have gone through until today, they have made me a better person.
Like Natalia one of the biggest change in my life recently was getting into UCR in Turrialba and also this change doesn’t affected me in negative way.

In the morning I breakfast very few when I have go to the university only drink a manzanilla tea. After like 10:00 a.m. I eat a fruit or cereal bar. In the middle day I lunch normality. In the afternoon I eat a cookie or bread with juice. Finally in the night I do not eat. The weekend I eat in different hours.
Foods and drinks that have a positive and negative impact.
1. The fruits are good because you keep hydrous.
2. The vegetables is good because its high level of nutrients and its few calories.
3. Eat rice help the good digestion
4. Chicken is a good source of proteins.
5. The nuts are good because it has mineral, fat healthy and vegetal protein.
6. The sugar in big amount can cause diabetes.
7. The dairy cause in some people stomach aches.
8. The soda is bad by the big amount of sugar.
9. Eat much salt cause kidney stones.
10. For some people the chocolate has different effect, for example it can to provoke acne allergies diabetes or high cholesterol.

Also, you must eat more vegetables and fruits to have a good health in your body.One more advice that you should is eat more food with carbohydrates and proteins. 2. You can include some fruits after lunch.
3. Many people don't tend to eat at night, but I recommend eating a snack before go bed.
4. I recommend drinking at least 4 or 5 glasses of water per day.
5. It is important not to make changes in meal times since this can cause gastritis.
6. Finally, practicing a sport or even exercise is essential for the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.
I think you could get a better diet trying to balance the quantitie of carbohydrates that your body need also do exercises maybe include more fruits and vegetables in your diet and try to eat more meat but in adecuate quantities and drink the water that your body need.
EliminarAn advice that I can give Tiff, is that you should try new and healthier food, there are some ingredients or dishes that you can't handle but these will help you to increase your immune system. Also, you should eat more before going to the university, you need a lot of energy and you're losing it. As a third advice, you must eat three meals per day for obtain the nutritients that your body need, this action can cause you an eating disorder. Fourth, make sure to eat at the same time all the days. Another advice is to balance the sugar level that you consume every day. And finally add more drinks to your diet, you should try to drink one bottle of water per day.

The biggest change of my life was to pass of the high school to university. This is some totally different, although there are few courses is more time of study and responsibilities, and talking what I have travel since my house until Turrialba. I do not affect of negative form although I do not like to feel that I am far from my house and my family. I know that I am studying something that I like and that my effort will have its reward in the future.
I agree with you, even though our career is difficult we must go on and do our best to achieve our goals. Keep doing your best and I know you will receive your reward in a few years.

ResponderEliminarIf the change can help you and become you in a better person it will absolutely be a great decision. In my case, I began study computing at university and then I had to change of career because I do not felt fulfilled; in this year I made the admission exam again and I thought too much about the immense change in my life, after I chose physical therapy, but not either was the accurate decision. Leaving aside the regrets and criticism about my indecision, I changed one more time so at this time in my current career (English teaching). Now, I feel so good and the most important I am completely satisfied and happy.
My situation is similar. I was very upset with accounting because I felt bored and confused, for that reason I decided to change my career.

ResponderEliminarThere are some advantages and disadvantages to take into account when talking about changes. First, the changes involve leaving the comfort zone. Similarly, it can forces us to adapt to the circumstances. On the other hand, we have some advantages like forcing us to overcome challenges, to improvise and in some cases can increase our creativity to solve situations that are presented to us on daily life.
I would say that the biggest change I've been through could be the change I had when I entered college because it involved taking on more responsabilities , less free time, less sleep. I can say that all that affected me emotionally, but then I realized that all those changes will make me a very committed person.
As Maria, get into the college is the biggest change I have experienced recently, and also affected me in an emocional way because I have to realize that this is not the high school and have to be more responsable with my study and homework and also independent. Now I have to administrate the money that I get from the scoolarship, so it makes me being more responsable in a economy way.

ResponderEliminarMy eating habits improve a lot this year more for a health issue than me trying to be healthy, so I think that right now I eat to live but I also live to eat sometimes.
Some foods that I eat on a daily basis are:
1. Cheese: it is one of my favorite foods and it helps you with protein and calcium.
2. Fruits: they are a good source of sugar that is not bad.
3. Dark chocolate: I love chocolate in general but recently dark chocolate has been my favorite and it is the healthiest kind of chocolate.
4. Yogurt: this is another one that I eat everyday, it helps me with calcium and iron.
5.Brocoli: I don't consume broccoli every day but I know is a good source of vitamins.
6. Tea: I love tea! I drink a cup of tea every morning, I don't know the benefits of drinking it though I know mint tea helps your stomach.
7. Granola: sometimes I like to eat my yogurt with a little bit of granola on it.
8. Chips: it is unhealthy mainly because the amount of salt and oil they have but I love eating some chips with my lunch sometimes.
9. Water: I recently started to drink more water to keep my body fully hydrated.
10. Gummies: they are really bad because the amount of sugar they have.

ResponderEliminarI think changes are good no matter what. Maybe you will see a change a something really bad but I believe everything happens for a reason, so every little or big change may end up in something good it doesn't matter how long it takes for it to be good.
The biggest change in my life is probably the transition from high school to college and it was mainly because on high school I had the same group of friends for 4 years, so I was really scared. Also it is really challenging to complete the homework within a due date and keep track of the dates I had to learn how to be more organized.
I also had a great change about keep track of the dates, I should start to use diary and reminder notes help me to become more organized.

ResponderEliminarFirst of all, food is very important to me. It is one of the things that I love mostly of life, I could say that I live to eat, but sometimes I need it for feeling healthier. My eating habits are not so common as my classmate’s habits, because I almost always eat junk or greasy food and it is not a worry for me because I’ve never shown symptoms that harms my health , but I also maintain a correct diet for my body weight and height just in case. My drinking habits are not so good for me or my bones, I drink Coca Cola for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even for a quick snack I drink it. Other drinks that I like to taste are tea, milk chocolate and orange juice whose sugar level is not so high than Coca Cola’s level.
Ten foods and drinks that have a positive impact in me are: 1. Vegetable Soup 2. Tea 3. Yogurt 4. Milk 5. Pasta 6. Chickpea beans 7. Lemonade 8. Beans 9. Potato juice 10. Pineapple desert
Whenever I ate these foods or drinks my body gets healthier and my humor and my skin began to change in an incredibly quick way. They also provide me some substances that I need for have a good shape and fastest physiological process.
Foods and drinks with a negative impact: 1. Potato chips 2. Pizza 3. Pork 4. Coca Cola 5. Coffee 6. Candies 7. Fried Rice 8. Snacks 9. Citrus fruit 10. Ice cream
In contrast, these ten foods and drinks me make feel terrible and increase my weight. Also, they produce me insomnia and intense stomachaches and migraines. Other fact is that sometimes this products are expensive and introduce me on a crisis situation.
Saby, I´m going to give you some piece of advice you could follow to improve your health habits:
Eliminar1. You should drink orange juice or coffee during your breakfast instead of Coca Cola.
2. You can include fruits on your diet, it could bring you more energy during the day.
3. You should include also on your diet water, it help you to hydrate your body and detoxify your body.
4. I recomend you to change Coca Cola drink in your lunch for natural juice or water.
5. You can continue eating pizza but not in big amounts because it also causes some issues on your body if you eat a lot.
6. For snacks, you should eat some fruits or some cereal bars, they bring you energy and make you being active during the day.

ResponderEliminarChanges are situations that make humans wiser or ignorant, it is for this reason that we have to compare their advantages and disadvantages. First, some advantages of changes can be a little tough but it will help us to understand which the correct way to choose is. Also, changes can create a different surrounding from the one that we already know which it could be better and happier. Changes sometimes avoid bad and negative things from our lives and let us start with new projects or dreams like moving to another city or maybe changing our classic style.
As there are benefits there are also consequences on making a change in our lives. The first and most common consequence is the painful and stressing process of leaving behind things or persons you love. Second, changes not always occur immediately so we have to be patient and wait for the best. Third, you need to erase or to quit to some memories or things that you consider valuable and necessary and it could be hard for you to get used to it. Finally, our mind and our feelings transformed our way to be, so we’re going to doubt about what we’re doing and at some point we will feel insecure and empty, but we have to be confident and steady of our election. Recently, I changed so many feelings and situations in my life, things that I was used to endure because I always considered myself a bad person and I thought that I deserved all those things, but after a recently shocking situation that I had, my mind and my knowledge change suddenly and I decided to put away all the persons, all the vicious and all the mischievous and wicked thoughts from me. Since I change, I learn that forgive is the most important action that a human can do for his/her own benefit and also for the peace that the world need in this time. This change make me be a happier person, and it’s so satisfying because I enjoy every single day and the little details that life gives me. This change in me it is the most important change that I made in my life because due to this I’m always a happy person, I don’t stress myself with silly things and I love every person that is near me, and all this helps me to have a beautiful life now, because I don’t know when will be my last day in here.

ResponderEliminarChanges are really necessary in our lives we can use changes to learn about our selves, I think it's necessary to change because it could help you to find the answer of some of your problems , but we need to know if the change that are you getting is for bad or not because it can help you but also can destroy your life.
My most recently change was ingress in the national orchestra it makes me fell better about my capacities and would help me in my future plans.
Task 1: Food is very important in my life because it brings me energy to all my responsibilities during the day. I used to eat to live and being a healthy person, but I also sometimes live to eat when I don´t care what I am eating and I just do it because I want to eat something. In my diet I used to eat healthy food but sometimes I include some things that I know that are not good to my health.
ResponderEliminarSome food that have positive and negative impact on my body are:
1. Rice: It brings me carbohydrates and, also is a source that works like a fuel in our bodies, so that makes me being active during the day.
2. Beans: Beans helps me to prevent a lot of issues such as heart attacks. Also they are low in fat and prevent the risk of cancer.
3. Natural juices: Even these help me to quench the thirst, they also bring vitamins and minerals to my body.
4. Cookies: Eat a lot of cookies are not healthy to our bodies, but the sugar that they have helps being active.
5. Bread: This is low in fat and also contains iron that is needed to transport oxygen to all the body.
6. Yogurt: It has a lot of proteins and vitamins that helps me during the day to being positive and energetic.
7. Cereal: Cereal is good for me because it brings me energy, but the milk that I put on it has to be without lactose because this brings me stomachache.
8. Potato chips: They are not good to my diet because of all the condiments that are on it.
9. Coca cola: I don´t drink it a lot because I know that this has more negative impacts on me than positive, but I sometimes drink it and it makes me feel active.
10. Pizza: It is my favorite food, but I also know that eat a lot of pizza is not healthy for me, so I try to eat it like once a month.
These are some piece of advice for you:
Eliminar1. You should include some vegetables in your diet because contains important benefits for your body.
2. You should continue drinking natural juice because bring vitamins, minerals and help your body.
3. You can include water in your diet to stay healthier.
4. I recommend avoid the Coca Cola in your diet because it is really harmful.
5. For cookies, you can eat integrals or with more fiber to avoid sugar damage.
6. Finally, you should continue eating balanced for good health.
Task 2: For me some advantages of change are that when you do them in positive way you grow on your personal level and it makes you get a high self- esteem. Also changes brings you the possibility to meet new people, places and why not countries. Although, it has disadvantages because you could miss your old live or your old habits and it could make you feel depressed and maybe you can´t cope with it. Another disadvantage of change is when it is an extreme change such as moving from the place you live, it implies to change everything you have known maybe for a long time and cope with something completely different than what you have known and it could makes you feel weird and you could want to change again into what you know.
ResponderEliminarThe biggest change I have experienced in my live recently is get into the university, because I have to wake up earlier than I used to do when I wasn’t into. Also, I have to be more responsible with my assignments and homework and I have to spend my time studying for get good scores. It affects me in good way because I met new people and made new friends, also because I´m studying a career that I like, but in bad way too because it is something that is new for me, so I have to adapt and get familiar with the system of the UCR.
Your change is differente than mine, but just like you I made new friends and I enjoy so much with them and I appreciate them. There is a magnificent change for a person, meet new people.

ResponderEliminarFood in my life is very important. Sometimes I eat to live or I live to eat, for example if a go home and there is for lunch something that I don´t like I only eat to live. But if I can eat some food which I love, I´m going to eat it as I live to eat. Here I wrote some foods and drinks that I consume:
1. Coffee: People say that it can improve energy. Also, it makes me feel less tired and the most important personal thing is that it takes me away the headache.
2. Chocolate: A lot of sweet chocolate can increase weight, acne and it causes diabetes. But dark chocolate is very nutritious, it is good for the heart, circulation, brain, etc.
3. Chicken: This food is high in proteins, it is an important source of vitamins and minerals and it reduced cholesterol.
4. Green Tea: It stimulates metabolism, it is good for regulating levels of bad cholesterol in the blood because of its antioxidants.
5. Cookies: Eating too much biscuits can cause health problems due to high sugar or salt, also they cause weight gain by the calories. However, there are healthy cookies that we can consume more relaxed.
6. Beans: They are an excellent source of complex carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and fiber. Beans are rich in iron, phosphorus, calcium and other minerals. The bean in the body helps to have a better digestion.
7. Natural yogurt: It strengthens the immune system and lowers cholesterol. Also, yogurt combats overweight and obesity, it improves the appearance of the skin and it´s a source of vitamins.
8. Soft drinks: They cause obesity, diabetes, heart diseases, osteoporosis and, they dissolve tooth enamel.
9. Pineapple: Antioxidant, it desintoxifies the body. Also, this fruit contains fiber and many vitamins and nutrients.
10. Gum: I know gum can be very bad for my teeth and I can feel hungry, but I love gums.

ResponderEliminarI think changes are necessary in our life, because we need to mature according to the years. It´s very important to change to leave the comfort zone. Also, changes help us to grow up and be better and stronger.
The biggest change in my life recently is perhaps when I became an undergraduate, and I met new people. I had to leave friends from high school and, again I had to meet new people and hang out with some of them. So, I think always we are going to change how we live and what we are.
I thought at the beginning, that these changes were bad for me, the reality is completely different. It affects me in a positive way, because I have the possibility to know more things about more people. Life is about the experiences and how we learn about them.
Task 1: Food is important because provides the enegy we need day by day. I think that we eat to live but sometimes we live to eat because of the cravings.

Beer: I like the flavour but I know that drinking a lot is not good for my health.

Task 2: The advantage of a change is the new beginning that live is giving you. On the other hand, a change is never easy to overcome when it affects a specific or important aspect of your life.

However, I don’t always remember that because I start to live to eat and leave aside my nutrition. My eating habits aren’t the best now. I almost never have breakfast and my diet isn’t very balanced because I don’t like many types of food. Besides, I don’t have a meal schedule and i know that is harmful for my body. For this reason, i think that i need improve my diet for my health and to keep me in the best shape. Food and drinks that have a positive and negative impact on my body are:
1. Tea: is a drink very healthy and brings me a lot of benefits like reduce the risk of heart attack, the antioxidants in tea might help to prevent the cancer, among others.
2. Bread: it brings me several benefits in an appropriate amount like a carbohydrates, calcium and iron but in large quantity is unhealthy.
3. Rice: contains fiber, carbohydrates and also providing a source of vitamin B, but can be overweight if consumed in high amounts.
4. White meat: This is low in fat and also it has proteins.
5. Cookies: some of these can give me energy but not is very healthy.
6. Vegetables: contains a lot of nutrients, vitamins and are so needed for the health.
7. French fries: this is very unhealthy because contains a lot of fats and cholesterol.
8. Pizza: is not healthy for me because it has fats, carbohydrates, cholesterol and could cause overweight.
9. Fish: is good for me because contains a lot of omega-3, proteins, is low in fat and may lower your risk of heart attacks and strokes.
10. Candies: contains much sugar and calories but in few amounts are not so bad.

ResponderEliminarI think that the all of changes have different advantages and disadvantages but they depend of the situation. The biggest change of my life recently was when getting into the university, because it means another lifestyle for me. I have new responsibilities, new people and new friends, less time for my things, less money and with my family means less time with them. This change affect me of several forms because now I am more stressed, busy, the bus ride is very tired but it has also helped me to be more independent and open my mind and knowledge.

ResponderEliminarI had serious problems with my feeding habits three years ago. I thought food was my enemy, so I let to eat a lot of things that my body needed. I had some changes, bad changes because my body didn´t have enough energy and nutrients. But now I have a balanced diet so I think that I eat to live but somedays I also live to eat.
These are some drinks and foods that I include in my diet.
1) Coffee: Coffee can improve our energy levels.
2) Eggs: Eggs contain a lot of vitamins like vitamin A and vitamin B12.
3) Rice: Is a good source of carbohydrates so it provides energy to the body.
4) Beans: Beans are a good source of fiber.
5) Cookies: In the cookkies were made with wohle grains there are good for our health but I eat the cookies with a high percent of calories.
6) Tea: Tea contains antioxidants.
7) Tomato: Is a rich source of vitamins and minerals.
8) Cheese: Is a good source of calcium and vitamin B.
9) White meat: It contains fewer calories than the red meat.
10) Pizza: It has a lot of calories but is really declicious!
Some piece of advice for Jessi are:
Eliminar-Drink more water.
-Eat some potatoes.
-Do exercises.
-Drink wine sometimes.
-Include fruits in the diet.

ResponderEliminarChanges are good. Maybe in certain moments we think that changes are hard and we felt sad for that but then we realize that we are stronger and smarter. The changes improve our point of view about life and help us to make a better decisions.
The most recently change in my life was to change my career, I was confused about what I wanted for my life. I understood that the numbers and management of money wasn´t for me so I decided to try with teaching and now I´m very happy and I feel comfortable and motivated .

The biggest change in my life was come to live to Turrialba on my own. in the beginning this change was difficult because I was to do everything on my own, but now I feel so good!
